Pasture-Raised Beef

Available late Summer and through Fall by the quarter, half, and whole.

$3.75 / lb (including butcher fee and cut & wrap):

Whole - hanging weight 430 to 480  pounds
- price $1,600 to $1,800
- deposit $400
Half - hanging weight 215 to 240 pounds
- price $806 to $900
- deposit $300
Quarter - hanging weight 100 to 140 pounds
- price $375 to $525
- deposit $150

As you are investing in a live animal, we are required to charge by the “hanging weight”, the weight of the hanging side when it arrives at the butcher shop. This is the weight we list above. When the meat is cut, extra fat and bones are removed and you receive about 65% of the hanging weight packaged and ready for your freezer. For a half beef, this works out to be about $5.75/lb for the meat you take home – a superb deal for all those steaks and roasts.
